is a matter of following the Cbse guidelines and carrying a variety of the Questions under CFQ (Competency Focused Questions),

 SA(Small Answer) VSA(Very Small Answer)  MCQ) , True False, Matching with lines, Map Analysis etc.

CONTENT /LESSON/CHAPTER BREAK-UP FOR CLASS (I TO VIII)

PART-A-Marks=70 MARKS ( 50% + 20 %) =35 + 14(49)

(1) CFQ ------50% (MCQ,OR CASE BASED OR ANY SIMILAR SOURCE)-

35 marks

(2) MCQ---20%  =14 marks

PART-B – 30% =Marks -21

·   Time Allocation:

o   MCQ (Conceptual & Factual): 20 Marks (40 minutes) - Up to 20 questions

o   True/False: 4 Marks (8 minutes) - Up to 4 questions

o   Fill-ups: 5 Marks (10 minutes) - Upto 5 questions

o   Matching: 5 Marks (10 minutes) - Upto 5 sets of matching

o   Jumbled Words/New Words: 5 Marks (12 minutes) - Upto 5 sets

o   VSA (Very Short Answer): 10 Marks (20 minutes) - Upto 5 questions

o   Map Analysis (Quick Answering - Optional): 5 Marks (Optional, 10 minutes) - Upto 1 question

·   Content: This section focuses on assessing basic knowledge, factual recall, and application of simple concepts.

Part B: Subjective Assessment (21 Marks, 1.5 Hours)

·   Questions: 6 (Maximum)

·   Time Allocation:

o   Short Answer: 12 Marks (45 minutes) - Upto 3 questions

o   Long Answer: 9 Marks (1 hour) - Upto 2 questions (may have sub-questions)
