AVPS, FAZILKA upholds an investiture ceremony to build leaders for Nation. A representative of students' responsibility throughout the year.

Guide /oversee the student leaders' conduct and hold the meetings, duties, and responsibilities


To provide student leadership in all school activities and sports. To encourage other students to participate in all activities. To display exemplary sportsmanship and milestone qualities at all times.

The Election process:

STAGE ONE

(1) Nominate yourself by filling out this Google form.

(2) Scrutiny by the School Committee; The school committee of Principal, Coordinators, Sports Head, and Head of the subjects will finally decide on the nomination process on the given Information.

(3) The final nominated students will showcase the manifesto for 05 minutes in the school Assembly before 17 August 2022. that includes their prospective plans, duties, and responsibility for the students in the existing year 2022-23.

Note:- Deposit the supporting Documents (Photocopy) at the time of filling out the Nominating form to the Coordinator Mrs.Poonam


(4) All nominated participants shall take the Recurring Responsible; Assembly/Departure time duties/Lunchtime duties/Wings/Floor managements/School Announcements etc)

to demonstrate their Leader skills.

(4.1) All nominated participants will attend a meeting with the School Principal and the adjoining committee.

(5) Election day; Voting by the class students of VI to XII.


PROHIBITED AND NATURE OF DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE NOMINATION ;

If a nominated student is found to do any prohibited act he/she will be disqualified from the nomination.

(1) No nominated student /participant shall be allowed to convenience /communicate throughout WhatsApp group, or any social media platform.

(2) No Nominated student shall be allowed to meet students outside the school campus, treat/party, and have a home visit.

(3) No meeting shall be allowed on school premises also. ONLY RESPONSIBILITIES AND MANIFESTO WILL BE LED BY THE NOMINATED STUDENTS TO DEMONSTRATE THEIR LEADERSHIP SKILLS



NOMINATION CRITERIA; HEAD BOY, GIRL, DEPUTY HEAD BOY, GIRL(XII, XI)

  1. A student's behavior towards students, teachers,

  2. Academic results of the last years (90 % or above)

  3. Recurring Responsible ;Assembly/Departure time duties/Lunchtime duties/Wings/Floor managements/School Announcements etc)

  4. Attendance

  5. Sports Achievement(Last three years (state, national), Competitions Indoor and Outdoor( state, National).

  6. A student who was never dismissed and restricted to attend school and class.

The Election process:

Caption /Vice Caption;

  1. There are 3 groups of voters: Students, Staff, and DP Staff

  2. Each student votes for 2 students within his/her House.

  3. They should not specify whether they are voting for the role of Captain or Vice-Captain.

  4. Each staff member of the House votes for Captain and Vice-Captain for both girls and boys, but only in their own House.

Prefects must lead by example through exemplary good manners and behavior; good citizenship and the correct wearing of the school uniform.
