Introduction:

AVPS,FAZILKA  is committed to providing quality education to students from Pre-Primary to Senior Secondary level. This admission policy outlines the criteria and procedures for enrolling students in all grades, adhering to the guidelines set forth by the CBSE and Punjab State Education Policy.

Admission Criteria:

• Age: The following age criteria will be followed for admission to different grades:

  • Pre-Primary: Minimum age as per Punjab State Education Policy (usually 3+ years).

  • Primary (Class I): Minimum age of 6 years by [Date - typically 31st March of the admission year].

  • Middle (Class VI): Completion of Class V from a recognized school.

  • Secondary (Class IX): Completion of Class VIII from a recognized school.

  • Senior Secondary (Class XI): Completion of Class X from a recognized school.

Selection Process:

• No written tests will be conducted for admissions in any grade.

• Selection will be based on a point system considering factors like:

  • Age (as per eligibility criteria)

  • Previous academic performance (report cards from previous schools)

  • Attendance record (if applicable)

  • Extracurricular achievements (certificates/awards, if any) 

Documents Required:

• Duly filled Admission Application Form

• Birth Certificate of the child

• Previous academic records (if applicable)

• Transfer Certificate (if applicable)

• Residence Proof (of parents/guardian)

• Category certificate  

• Any other documents as mandated by the CBSE or Punjab State Education Policy

Admission Procedure:

1. Application forms will be available at the school office during designated dates.

2. Completed application forms along with required documents need to be submitted within the specified deadline.

3. A selection list will be displayed on the school notice board after careful evaluation.

4. Selected candidates will be required to submit the complete admission fee and confirm their seat within the stipulated timeframe.
