Employee Verification
When completing requirements for banks, loan providers, government agencies, or visa applications, Independent Contractors at BruntWork may be asked to provide proof of engagement or employment verification. Since contractors are considered self-employed, a traditional Certificate of Employment (COE) does not apply. However, BruntWork offers alternative documentation that serves the same purpose.
Independent Contractors can request a Contract Certificate, which functions as the BruntWork equivalent of a Certificate of Employment. This document is accepted by most institutions that require proof of engagement or income.
To request this certificate, simply:
Access the BruntWork Document Request Form.
Choose “Document Request” under the Concern Category.
Submit the form with the required details.
If a bank or another organization needs confirmation of your contract or engagement details, they may email people@bruntwork.co directly. Please ensure you provide them with a signed authorization letter, giving BruntWork permission to release the necessary information on your behalf.
Since Independent Contractors operate as self-employed professionals, BruntWork does not issue traditional employment documents such as COEs. The Contract Certificate and authorized contract verification serves as the appropriate alternatives.
