Generally, we follow a "No Work, No Payment" Policy, and you will not be paid for any leave you take unless there is a specific policy regarding paid leave in your Independent Contractor or Employee agreement or if we have specific approval from your client.
Important Reminders before filing for a leave:
For Planned or Unplanned Leaves
Note: If it is a planned leave, file your leave request at least 2 weeks before your desired date/s of leave.
For unplanned leaves, file your request at least 2 hours before your shift starts.
Copy your SSP and your CSM in the email.
If the leave is approved, secure the copy of the approval via email as this will be used to approve your leave in Fast DTR.
Note: For the client’s approval - a proof must show that the client agreed for it to be a paid leave.
Verbal agreements are not accepted. A screenshot of the email or forwarding the client’s email only.
How to File a Leave ( Set or Unscheduled Shift )
1. Go to the “My Filed Leaves” tab and click the ( + ) icon in the upper right corner.
Note: If your leave has been approved, secure a copy of the approval via email, as this will be used to approve your leave in Fast DTR.
2. Fill out the following details:
Team
Role
Paid or Unpaid Leave - (If you are filing for paid leave based on your contract, make sure to explicitly inform your client that it will be filed as such.)
Leave Reason
Shift Type: Choose either:
“Set Shift” ( Use the filter function to display the dates of your scheduled shifts )
“Unscheduled Shift” ( if your shift hasn't been plotted yet )
Date of Leave - (For both shift types, ensure you only enter your contracted working hours. Exclude unpaid breaks—especially important for unscheduled leaves.)
3. Attach the client approval screenshot - This is required for all paid leaves (both set and unscheduled).
For unpaid leaves, make sure you have notified both your client and SSP.
4. Click “Submit.”
5. Verify that your leave has been submitted successfully under the “Filed Leaves” tab.
Note for Filing Multiple Dates
For multiple dates, you may select “Date Range” instead of "Set Shift" or "Unscheduled Shift" and input the necessary details.
This option is only applicable for unpaid leaves with the same number of hours per day.
Select the date range you missed work or wish to apply leave for.
Make sure you already have proof of your client’s approval so your SSP can approve the filed leave.
Reach out to your SSP for inquiries and clarification.
