This stayed consistent throughout my production but if I were to change this I would change the font size so it has a bolder effect and potentially the arrangement of the words.
In order to create some depth within Tyreke's interview I decided to create some motion graphics. Below shows the process of how I created this.
Firstly, the colour grade heightens her features which is important considering the documentary is about makeup. The use of a warm colour palette has a positive effect on the film, this helps to engage the audience through a sense of comfort. Additionally, it could suggest to the audience that they should feel comfortable in their skin whether they wear makeup or not. My aim throughout the documentary is to present a neutral argument on the topic of makeup by allowing the cast to speak freely on the issue. The use of colour also helps to present comfort in speaking your mind without any judgement. In conclusion, I feel that the colour grade in 'The Power of Makeup', is effective throughout the film.
To the left is the initial export of Megan's interview. On one hand its successful in regards to the mixture of shots and angles which add interest to the film and keep the audience engaged but to improve I'd colour grade the footage so it looks crisp.
Furthermore I also key-framed and edited Megan's dialogue by adjusting the levels and setting the preset to "balanced female voice". I was able to remove some background noise too. This was all effective in clearing up the dialogue and enabling the audience to hear and take in all the information without any distractions, which helps to keep them absorbed.

This is not the final export!
16/06/18, 8:35am - Premier Pro wouldn't allow me to render or export, have been trying from around 4 pm yesterday. Just got it started, official export should be uploaded by 12pm today. Sorry for any inconvenience. Rhiann.
16/06/18, 10:53am - The export I started earlier gave me an error message. I'm currently doing a low res export, the title became disjointed when I rendered the project. I will change this when I go into college. If I stop the export now it might not do it again. I'll try to get it up by 12:30pm. I hope this doesn't affect my mark. Sorry for any inconvenience.
