WELCOME BACK!!!
STEPPING INTO SUCCESS
WITH OUR
BOOTS ON THE GROUND
As we approach the end of another successful school year 🎉, we are excited to highlight the engaging and enriching experiences our students have participated in throughout the year! This has been a wonderful opportunity for students to explore their interests 🌟, build new skills 🧠, and express their creativity 🎭 outside of the traditional classroom setting.
Throughout the year, our enrichments have provided hands-on learning ✋, collaboration 🤝, and fun 🎉. From creative arts 🎨 and technology-based activities 💻 to academic enrichment 📖 and team-building experiences 🏆, students have been actively involved and enthusiastic about their learning. These sessions not only reinforced important skills but also allowed students to discover new passions and talents 🔍✨. We are incredibly proud of the effort, growth 🌱, and excitement our students have shown.
🏖️ Sip and Paint🎨
As we wrap up the school year 🎓, students are working on one of our final and most exciting projects, a collaborative mural! This special piece features a beach-inspired motif 🏝️, with each student contributing their own unique and creative designs ✨.
After completing their individual pieces, students will come together to paint the mural collectively 🤝, showcasing teamwork, creativity, and pride in their work. Once finished, the mural will be displayed in our classroom 🖼️ as a lasting reminder of their hard work and collaboration.
🌱 Garden Enrichment Highlights 🍓
🍕Our students have been hard at work in Garden Class, learning valuable hands-on skills while having fun outdoors! 🌞 Students take responsibility by watering the plants 🌿, helping them grow and thrive.
In addition, students have enjoyed creating their own personal pizzas 🍕, using fresh ingredients and connecting their learning from garden to table. They have also planted strawberries 🍓, basil 🌿, and mint 🌱, gaining a deeper understanding of how food is grown and cared for.
This enrichment has been a wonderful way to teach responsibility, healthy habits, and the joy of growing your own food! 🌼✨
🛠️ STEM Enrichment Challenge 🏗️
Students put their engineering skills to the test by working in teams to build towers using only paper and tape 📄🧻. Each group collaborated to design and construct a structure that was both creative and sturdy.
Once completed, the towers were put through a series of tests 🧪 to see which design could stand the strongest and tallest. This activity encouraged problem-solving, teamwork 🤝, and critical thinking, all while having fun!
🍬 Cooking Class 📊
We had a sweet time celebrating National Gummy Bear Day on April 27th! 🎉 Students sampled both Original Gummy Bears and Sour Gummy Bears 🍬 to see which flavor they liked best.
After the taste test, students brought their learning into the classroom by creating a bar graph 📊 to display the results. This fun activity combined hands-on learning with math skills, allowing students to analyze and compare their data in an engaging way.
It was the perfect mix of learning and fun! 😄✨
✨Art Enrichment Highlight 🎨
Students had an exciting time diving into their creativity by making vibrant sand art! 🌈 They carefully layered different colors of sand to create eye-catching designs, patterns, and even personalized masterpieces. Each student had the opportunity to experiment with color combinations and textures, making every piece truly unique. 🖌️
This hands-on activity not only sparked creativity but also helped students develop patience and attention to detail as they worked to bring their visions to life. The classroom was filled with excitement and pride as students admired their finished creations and shared them with their peers. 😊👏
Overall, sand art was a fun and engaging experience that allowed students to express themselves artistically while enjoying a relaxing and rewarding activity!
