Congratulations to our very own Lakessia Webb for being chosen as November's Pursuit of Excellence!
Ms. Lakessia Webb is relatively new to the Baldwin County School district, working almost a year as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Lakeview Academy. In her short time with the Baldwin County School District, she has already established herself as a model of excellence. Ms. Webb was nominated by her colleague, Amanda Goldberg.
Ms. Goldberg had the following to say: “Ms. Webb has been a PEC paraprofessional at Lakeview Academy since the winter of last school year. She jumped in with both feet and seamlessly fit into our PEC family. Ms. Webb goes above and beyond to make sure all the needs of her students are met. She is a problem solver and is always looking for new ways to differentiate instruction. She has built great relationships with each of her students. Students love her because she is kind and fun. They all know that she cares for them. Ms. Webb is an asset to Lakeview Academy.” Ms. Webb, thank you for being the epitome of excellence!
Mrs. Edwards is no stranger to the Baldwin County community. In fact, she is the president of Baldwin County's branch of NAACP. In her customary and philanthropic heart, she decided to bestoy our students with supplies. Mrs. Edwards donated supplies to our cosmetology enrichment and she provided new book bags for students whose bags were damaged. Our program would like to honor her for her community contributions and send love her way as she continues to improve the lives of all Milledgeville citizens.

The following day, the cooking class had a taste test of Mandarin Oranges, Limes, Lemons, and Grapefruit. We conducted a poll, the most popular fruit was the Mandarin Orange and the least favorite was the Grapefruit.--
