Plan of Action!

• To help students understand restorative discipline practices, Ms. Bremeshia Smith will lead focused sessions during enrichment that are geared towards explaining the principles and goals of restorative discipline. During these sessions, students will learn how restorative practices can positively affect their behavior, relationships, and overall learning experience. In addition to the whole-group enrichment sessions, Ms. Smith will also lead small group discussions with students who have had disciplinary problems. These smaller sessions will allow students the space to discuss their behavior, acknowledge the harm they have caused, and develop strategies for making more positive choices in the future. This proactive strategy aims to create a more respectful and responsible school community.

• In addition to CE opportunties posted on the newsletter &  distributed monthly, handouts are provided at all parent events and information is included on all parent event flyers.
