Enrichment Highlights
Our students used talking circles that mimic the emotions expressed in the popular animated movie Inside Out. Talking circles provide elementary students with a safe and supportive space to express their emotions, build empathy, and strengthen classroom community. By sharing their thoughts and feelings in a respectful, structured format, students learn active listening, emotional awareness, and conflict resolution skills. This practice fosters inclusivity, encourages open communication, and helps young learners develop the confidence to voice their experiences while supporting their peers.
