June 27, 2024: End of Summer Camp Fun day!!!
In Gaming 101 with Mr. Glenn and Ms. Roach's they were caught playing a good game of uno.
Mr. Glenn and Ms. Roach's gaming 101 class had the chance to play a game of rock, paper, scissor. Our children really enjoyed this challenge.
We had the opportunity of taking our Incredible YES scholars to Zoo Atlanta. Everyone absolutely enjoyed every moment of this amazing experience. We seen so many animals up close and personal and learned new things about each animal that we had an encounter with. Our third week has been a blast!
Mr. Reeves and Ms. Duncan's sporting class were caught playing math volly ball. They solved a series of basic math problems such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and division. We have some incredible Scholars in our YES program.
Ms. Rucker and Ms. Webb's cosmetology class did a STEAM ACTIVITY with their handmade airplanes. How far will your airplane fly?????
Ms. Rucker and Ms. Webb's class has been so Incredible this summer! They made paper boats with plenty of personality in the Mix. Will your boat sink or float?????
Ms. Rucker and Ms. Webb's Cosmetology class have been learning how to properly part hair on the mannequin's head using a detangler comb and rattail comb.
Our second week of Summer Camp was very adventurous. We went and explored The Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon, Ga. We explored The Discovery House, Fine Art centers, Planetarium, and Science on a Sphere. Everything was awesome!!
Ms. Hill and Ms. Turner's Line Dancing Class has been working on the Jerusalema Line Dance. We are pretty sure that our students can out dance anyone else after this session!!
Mrs. Morgan and Ms. Lundy's STEAM class has been busy naming some of the places they would like to go this summer. These places included Panama City Beach, The Atlanta Zoo, and just a family fun filled day. They have also been learning about the different means of transportation.
Our First week went exceedingly well!! Our YES Scholars also enjoyed their first field trip of the summer to The World of Coca- Cola.
