Sophie Wasyliw

This group of vessels, I believe, embodies me as a creator and as a person. I believe that creativity is an ever flowing river, you cannot push it to do one thing or another, you can simply guide it, which is how I enjoy creating. These minimally touched and manipulated vessels show the flow of creativity, the lack of control and consistency, and the flexibility one must have during the creative process. This process is not one I have seen often so my hope was to embody these loose, creative parameters while still creating a coexisting and harmonious set. With no two vessels exactly the same you still feel as though it is all meant to be together.
