The application is available on the district website.

We are excited to share an art opportunity available to our students. ESS, the company that partners with Alpine School District to provide substitute teachers, hosts an annual art contest for students. We encourage our creative Cougars to consider participating and sharing their artwork. Student winners will receive a $500 gift card, and their school will receive a $500 check. Contest details and entry information are available at the link below.
This morning, our 6th grade students graduated from the N.O.V.A. program! We are grateful to Officer Campbell, our sixth grade teachers, and the Lindon City Police Department for making this instructional opportunity possible. Congratulations to our sixth grade students!
Our Lunchroom Manager has created a one page calendar highlighting all the lunch options for January. You can view it by clicking here.
As part of the formation of three new school districts, Rocky Mountain Elementary will have a new primary phone number starting in the coming weeks. The new number will be 385-579-5375. Our current school number will continue to work through June 29, 2027, but it will soon route to our new phone number. The new phone number is expected to be in use around February 1 of this year.
The updated phone system will also provide more direct lines for schools, which should improve call reliability and reduce the chance of calls being marked as spam.
We will share when the new phone number is officially active, but please have this change on your horizon and begin planning to use the new number when contacting Rocky Mountain.
The Rocky Mountain 6th grade Student Council runs the Cougar Store, a place where students can use tickets earned for following school expectations to purchase prizes. Volunteers directly assist the student council members in running the store. Volunteer times vary by day.
Thank you to all those who signed up for volunteer time slots for the first half of the year! We’re now looking to fill time slots for the remaining half of the year. Please take a look to see if you might be able to share your time with the school in this way.
