This season is a wonderful time to pause and reflect on the things that bring joy and meaning to our lives. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve at this incredible school and be a part of your children's everyday growth, learning, and successes. Your trust and support mean so much to all of us here at Rocky Mountain.

PTA Reflections Awards Assembly
We are proud to recognize our students who participated in this year’s PTA Reflections program. Their creativity and effort were outstanding, and we look forward to celebrating their accomplishments at our Reflections Awards Assembly on Monday, December 1. Parents of award winners will be notified and invited to attend. Thank you to our PTA for supporting the arts and encouraging students to share their talents!

Do you know a member of the RME team who goes above and beyond—someone who is Remarkable, Inspiring, Selfless, or Encouraging? We invite you to nominate them for an ASD RISE Award! Share specific examples of why this employee deserves recognition. All nominees will be celebrated at their school, and a few each month will also be honored at a board meeting at the District Office. Click here to see some of the district's latest nominees. While not every nomination will appear on the website, every nominee will receive a copy of their nomination in celebration of their great work.
Teacher of the Month: Community Recognition Opportunity
Teacher of the Month: Community Recognition Opportunity
In addition to the RISE award, a local Pleasant Grove business, Rogers & Russell law firm, are sponsoring a Teacher of the Month program to honor and recognize outstanding educators in Pleasant Grove and Lindon schools. Teachers can be nominated by students, parents, staff, PTA members, or other community members. Each month, a selected teacher will receive a $250 deposit to their classroom foundation account.
Families who would like to nominate a teacher can complete the Google Form linked below. This is a great way to celebrate the dedication and impact of local educators in our community, especially those right here at Rocky Mountain!

Lend a Hand at the Cougar Store
Lend a Hand at the Cougar Store
The Rocky Mountain 6th grade Student Council could use your help in running Rocky's, our school store. Volunteers work alongside student council members as students redeem tickets for prizes. It's a fun way to see student leadership in action!
If you’re able to give a little time that day, we would greatly appreciate it. Time slots are over the lunch hour. More volunteer opportunities will be added throughout the year.

The vote for the members of the inaugural school board of the future "Timpanogos" School District has been certified. Board members will be sworn in on Tuesday, November 25. The board members are:

The first school board meeting of the new "Timpanogos" School District will take place on Tuesday, November 25, at 5:00pm at Orem High School.

Where can I find information about the new "Timpanogos" School District?
Families can find information about each of the new school districts on the current Alpine School District webpage by clicking here. A page dedicated specifically to the future "Timpanogos" School district is available here. In addition, the four municipalities that will make up the future Timpanogos School District (Pleasant Grove, Lindon, Orem, and Vineyard) have joined together to create their own website, which you can view by clicking here. These websites will be updated with new information as it becomes available in preparation for the launch of the three new school districts.

When will the new "Timpanogos" School District begin serving students?
The first school year of the new "Timpanogos" School district will be the 2027-2028 school year. It will begin serving students in August 2027.
