We are excited to invite families to our 6th Grade N.O.V.A. Graduation on Friday, January 16, at 8:15 a.m. in the gym. The N.O.V.A. program has been an incredible experience for our students, helping them learn important skills, reflect on their choices, and grow both academically and personally. A special thank you to Officer Campbell from the Lindon City Police Department for his dedication and support in making this program possible.
Our Winter Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place Wednesday, February 4, and Thursday, February 5. Look for more information to come in the coming weeks about how to reserve your conference times. For now, save the date on your calendar!
Parents, you’re invited to a special midday presentation at the Lindon Community Center on Tuesday, February 10. The topic of the presentation is “Safe to Talk: How to Have an Effective Conversation With Your Kids.”

If your child is feeling ill, please review this guidance to help determine whether they are well enough to attend school. We know it can be a challenge when students unexpectedly need to stay home, but our collective adherence to these procedures will help ensure that our school community stays as healthy as possible. Thank you for doing your part.
In keeping with our inside recess guidelines, we had our first opportunity this school year for a start-of-the-day inside recess today. With the temperature at 20 degrees Fahrenheit, students began the day indoors. Following our school protocol, students proceeded directly to the gymnasium and waited there to be picked up by their teachers.
As a reminder, here are the criteria we use to determine when an inside recess is necessary due to cold temperatures, inclement weather, or poor air quality:
Temperature: Below 20°F, including wind chill
Inclement Weather: Steady rain, sleet, hail, or snow that could leave students wet or cold
Poor Air Quality: We follow the Utah Department of Health guidelines concerning particulate matter in the air and when an inside recess is required.
Please continue to send your child with weather-appropriate clothing so they are prepared for outdoor play whenever conditions allow. Thank you for helping us keep all students safe and comfortable!
Parents are invited to attend a Community Connection evening on Monday, January 12, from 7.00-8.30pm at Timpanogos High School. This event is provided through the Lindon Cares Grant in partnership with Timpanogos High School and Oak Canyon Junior High.
The evening will include a series of family focused workshops such as: Safe Talk - how to talk and connect with your teen, Mind Over Media - exploring how technology continues to affect our lives, and Coping Skills - developing safe and healthy ways to manage stress for individuals and families.
