Learn about the candidates running for our new school district’s board of education, which will guide key decisions for the 2027-28 school year. Pleasant Grove, Timpanogos, Mountain View, and Orem Council PTAs are hosting these events for each school board seat.

Details: Meet the candidates, mingle, and participate in a formal Q&A from 7–8 PM (the meeting will be recorded for later viewing).
To make the Q&A meaningful, the Pleasant Grove PTA Council is gathering questions from school employees, parents, and members of the community. Be aware that in a little over a week, students will have a day off from school. Monday, September 29, is designated as a teacher work day on the district calendar. Students have the day off as teachers have additional time to prepare lessons, grade assignments, and complete other preparation work.
The PTA Reflections program gives students a chance to express their creativity through art, music, dance, literature, and other mediums. All students are encouraged to participate and share their original work. Submissions can be entered online at https://www.utahpta.org/ref and are due by October 18. Follow the instructions on the webpage to submit your child's artwork.

Bright Ideas is ASD’s Saturday camp for motivated and curious students. Sessions are offered in October, November, March, and April. Registration is now open. For more information, click here.
Advanced Learning Lab (A.L.L.) testing for current 2nd, 6th, and 7th graders runs October 24–November 15 (3rd–5th graders test in February). Learn more: English flyer, Portuguese flyer
The Rocky Mountain 6th grade Student Council runs the Cougar Store, a place where students can use tickets earned for following school expectations to purchase prizes. Volunteers directly assist the student council members in running the store. Volunteer times vary by day. We are currently filling time slots from mid-September through October (future dates will be added later).
