INFORMATION & UPDATES

Nominations for the RME School Community Council (SCC)

Our School Community Council (SCC) plays a vital role in supporting student learning at Rocky Mountain. The council helps identify school needs, create improvement plans, and decide how School LAND Trust funds are used.

This year we have open positions:

3 parent representatives
2 employee representatives

Nominations for interested candidates are due by September 1, 2025. To submit your name, complete our Candidate Nomination Form.

Elections will take place September 3–5, 2025. An online ballot will be emailed to Rocky Mountain parents and employees. Elections will end at noon on September 5.

Join the Ballroom Dance Team at Northridge Elementary

Rocky Mountain students are invited to join the Northridge Ballroom after school program! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn ballroom dance, build confidence, make new friends, and be part of a team.

The Northridge Ballroom team is a combined group of students from Northridge, Rocky Mountain, Lindon, Aspen, Windsor, and Orchard elementary schools—together they form one amazing team!

FROM OUR PTA

Rocky Mountain Carnival & PTA Fundraiser

Our RME Carnival is coming up on Monday, September 15 from 4:30-7:30pm! This year’s theme is “Welcome to the Jungle!” There will be games, activities, food, and fun for the whole family!

You can pre-purchase a meal (slice of pizza, cookie, and drink) for $4.00.
Donations are welcome and appreciated.
Volunteers are needed for set-up, clean-up, and during the event.

Vision Screening Volunteers Needed

We are in need of volunteers to assist with Vision Screenings on Friday, Sept 5, at 8:00am. This is a quick and easy way to support our students (usually 1–2 hours). To sign up, visit the PTA Vision Screening Volunteers sign-up page.
