Each day includes an activity or dress up theme to help build excitement and a shared sense of belonging as we celebrate kindness in action. Here’s what students can look forward to on each weekday:

Tuesday February 10: Kindness is Gold - wear gold or yellow
Wednesday, February 11: Wear the colors of the Olympic rings: blue, black, red, yellow, or green. Students will participate in a gold medal compliments match!
Thursday February 12: Real Champions Show Kindness - Wear sports apparel such as a favorite jersey, team shirt, or hat.
Friday February 13: Heart of a Champion - Wear red or pink Valentine’s Day colors
We are grateful to our Kindness Crew for helping brainstorm and sponsor this event. Their efforts really make a difference at Rocky Mountain!

We hope you can join us for a special community celebration as we continue building the Timpanogos School District together! A special celebration for the new district will be taking place on Thursday, February 12 at 6:30pm at Timpanogos High School. This event will welcome our new superintendent, Dr. Joseph N. Jensen, feature musical performances from all four high schools, and unveil our new district logo. Families, staff, and community members are all invited to celebrate this exciting moment for our district!
Valentine’s Day class parties will be held on Friday, February 13, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. We’re grateful to room parents and other volunteers who help make these parties possible for our students! (Please note that all volunteers must have a cleared background check with the district prior to any volunteering activity at any school. For more information, click here.) All treats and snacks must be commercially prepared. Thank you for helping us make this a fun and safe celebration for our students!
Schools in the Alpine District share an annual stakeholder report as a way to communicate openly with their communities. This report provides a snapshot of new or noteworthy aspects of the school, information about ways to be involved, details related to how state School LAND Trust funds are utilized at Rocky Mountain, as well as our school priorities and areas of focus for the year. A paper copy of the report is being sent home to each family through their family representative (the youngest student attending Rocky Mountain). We invite you to take a few moments to review the report and stay connected to the work we are doing together to support our students. A digital copy of the report is available via the link below:
Our lunchroom manager, Mrs. Gull, has put together a lunch menu for the month of February. You can access it at the link below:

Beginning February 9, the district will transition from automated attendance phone calls to text message notifications when a student absence has not yet been excused by a parent or guardian. Families will receive a text message that includes the student’s name and school, along with instructions for excusing the absence through Skyward Family Access or by calling the school. Text messages will be automatically translated into the home language listed in Skyward.
We're now registering kindergarten students for the 2026-2027 school year! For all the details on registration, program choices, and important deadlines, click here.
The Rocky Mountain 6th grade Student Council runs the Cougar Store, a place where students can use tickets earned for following school expectations to purchase prizes. Volunteers directly assist the student council members in running the store. Volunteer times vary by day.
Thank you to all those who signed up for volunteer time slots for the first half of the year! We’re now looking to fill time slots for the remaining half of the year. Please take a look to see if you might be able to share your time with the school in this way.
