Here, among the snowdrops are some of the cotton-colored Thistles I planted to attract a certain kind of treehopper. Can't remember which one right now! I only remember these plants brought in some intriguing kinds of Critters! And I'm looking forward to re-making their acquaintance. And that's why I saved their address so we can start again this Spring (NOW).
ps. Picture 2 shows the white-leafed color of one of the kinds of Thistles I planted (or let grow from last year's seeds (I didn't do any of the planting work, just let the seeds fall where they might!
Here are some purple crocuses. Note: you may have noticed that I have been calling a Crocus a Hyacinth. I should have said Crocus!
I'm submitting this little fellow to iNat for possible identification. (Because I have no clue what it is!) Anyone who does and will share that information here will earn my undying thanks!
So folks, here is my submission of creatures for March 15, 2026. Please enjoy any of Nature's offspring that you may see out there as Spring comes closer and closer to our hearts! Love, Martha
