Did I ever get a late start today!  (As a partial apology, we had fireworks going off all night! ) You'll forgive me, I hope, but I had better add some GOOD STUFF!  Well, here is a head start on something nice, I hope.  It's what I used to call a Bull Thistle.  Next are some Betonies.  

Here's one cool Beetle.  The color really changes with the light.  That is the same Beetle in both images.

Here is that Red Day Lily - still blooming these days.  And a very small Grasshopper from this week.

I was hoping that was some special critter in this picture, but I think it is only one of our many Ants.  

Here are some of our fine trumpetvine flowers.

Here are a few more little Spiders of some sort - I'm still not sure which sort(s)!
