What?  It's already August 9, 2026?  Well, yes, it's been a week since the last Blog.  Let's see what the universe has to show for it!   I didn't get so many pictures as usual this week.  Please forgive me - I'll look harder this coming week!

Here we see an American Toad pair swimming along.  (This picture was from a couple of weeks ago, but they can still be seen if you keep your eyes peeled.)  Next is a pair of what seem to be Lightning "Bugs"  (really Beetles).  

Here is another one of those Rustic Borer Beetles.  Again, they tend to be colored differently in different lights.

Here is a pair of those purple Thistles - they have been so prolific this season!  Second is that flying Squirrel!
