Yes, Winter is still here. It arrived at about the right time for Autumn, and since then has been intent on convincing the neighborhood that it means us no harm, but I have my own opinion about how much harm it has been meaning us. This truck's business end does look like some kind of evil critter hanging above the street. Picture 2 shows the lovely decor, majoring in those orange and white giant toys, stretching northward on Burr Oak Street, Albion.
While you enjoy that decor, I'll try to bring you up to date on Autumn 2025. Here are some of the pretty pink leaves as the colors develop in front of our very eyes! Next is a critter called "Harpactorini". It is a member of genus Sinea, an Assassin Bug from Family Reduviidae. Third is one of the little fabric kitties I've been making for the babies being born about now!
Here are some of the Wasps we probably won't see again till Spring!
Here is a fish that survived the storms of Autumn, and another that shows the Pond in Midsummer. I'll have to bite my tongue so as not to mourn those days' passing.
I do miss the colors of Summer. But if this year is like all the others, those colors will follow soon. It's funny how each year is almost like the others, but there will still be subtle differences!
Here are some of the Beetles we saw earlier. They are out of sight now. The third one is a Japanese Beetle.
So, my friends, we have reached that end of Sunday afternoon, and must say Goodbye for this week. I wonder what the end of the next week will bring us. We will soon know! Love from Martha, dear friends!
