Everyone achieves academic excellence

Every child has an entitlement to learn the knowledge of an excellent curriculum and extended curriculum.  All pupils have the right to study and acquire the knowledge that will equip them not only to achieve excellent academic outcomes but also to be successful and happy world-wise citizens.  The curriculum achieves high levels of ambition for all pupils, is broad and balanced, sequenced with intent and precision and is delivered through high quality teaching.

The academy believes that all students, irrespective of their starting point, are entitled to a broad and ambitious curriculum, considering local context and building upon each prior stage of learning.  To that end, we offer an innovative and knowledge-rich curriculum, which enables any student to fulfil their potential and develop skills and knowledge, which will serve them well in later life.
