Headteacher's Welcome
My Role as Headteacher at Anglesey Primary Academy.
As Headteacher of Anglesey , I feel incredibly privileged to be leading such a creative, inclusive and forward thinking school. My role is to strategically lead Anglesey. Striving to ensure every child receives a remarkable education.
We are driven through our values to provide not only successful academic young people, but equip them with knowledge, resilience, independence and a strong sense of well-being to be able to be to achieve their ambitions in an ever changing world to be able to discover what is possible.
We believe in providing the children with a highly engaging and motivating curriculum to instill a love of learning, where kindness, respect and courtesy are expected of all to truly be happy, inclusive and safe. We have dedicated staff who ensure that we spark curiosity and capture imagination, to ensure standards are high and we push the limits to enable the children here at Anglesey are getting the best possible education leading to every child finding their remarkable life.

Anglesey Primary Academy
Situated in Burton on Trent, we are a three form entry school with on-site Nursery Provision, and are delighted to be a part of the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET).
As part of the trust, we are embedding the trust motto, to ensure that all of the children at Anglesey Primary Academy are inspired to choose a remarkable life. We expect all of our children to be:

At Anglesey, we truly embrace and celebrate the diverse communities that make up our school. We have built an ethos of support, respect, listening and caring in an environment that is safe and equal for all.
We are continually developing ways to ensure our children have the best possible opportunities to be successful. We recognise that through an enriched, varied curriculum, our children are challenged. We also ask that our children challenge themselves and aspire to be the very best they can be.
Through our Academy Council we have links with our fantastic parents and the local community and really value the support they offer our school.
