Anglesey Primary Academy

Situated in Burton on Trent, we are a three form entry school with on-site Nursery Provision, and are delighted to be a part of the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET).

As part of the trust, we are embedding the trust motto, to ensure that all of the children at Anglesey Primary Academy are inspired to choose a remarkable life. We strive for all of our children to:

Be Unusually Brave: We are not afraid to make mistakes.

Discover What’s Possible: We look to create ‘Eureka Moments’ for our pupils and help them to discover the wonderful world of possibilities and opportunities.

Push the Limits: Not settling for anything less than excellent. Reaching for the stars!

Be Big – Hearted: We treat each other with kindness, warmth and care.

At Anglesey, we truly embrace and celebrate the diverse communities that make up our school. We have built an ethos of support, respect, listening and caring in an environment that is safe and equal for all.

We are continually developing ways to ensure our children have the best possible opportunities to be successful. We recognise that through an enriched, varied curriculum, our children are challenged. We also ask that our children challenge themselves and aspire to be the very best they can be.

We have strong links with our fantastic parents and the local community and really value the support they offer our school.
