Materials, Books and Equipment

No charges are made for daily materials. Children are expected to make a contribution towards the replacement of lost or damaged equipment. Occasionally, children may be asked to contribute towards the cost of materials used in Design and Technology if they want to take the item home.

Day Trips

Parents are asked to make a contribution. Trips do not go ahead if insufficient contributions are received.

Residential Trips

The Academy follows Local Authority guidelines on charging for residential trips.

General

The Academy has a charging and remissions policy. This applies to Musical Instrument Tuition. There is sometimes a  charge for activities, which take place within school hours and enhance the curriculum e.g. Roman Day, Owl Man etc.
