Learners develop employability skills and knowledge about the health sector. The course includes case studies, simulated workplace settings, individual research and other practical skills. The core skills covered by the course are communication, numeracy, problem solving and working with others. The course is especially relevant to people who are interested in working in the Healthcare sector, or want to develop positive attitudes to learning, self-respect and employability skills or are interested in human biology and medicine.
