The Esports course develops skills for a career in the Esports industry. The course looks to develop skills in planning and organisation of events, understanding sponsorships, different career paths available as well as player skills and participation in Esports tournaments.

Understand the history of Esports, the characteristics of an esports game, the roles within an esports team and how Esports teams promote a professional brand
Game Performance
Understanding the technical aspects of esports. Learning about different PC gaming platforms and their associated configurations. Understanding gaming terminology. Learners will also select an esports game and look at gameplay styles by investigating current teams and players. Learners will perform in their selected game and analyse their gameplay.
Organising & Promoting Events
Understanding the different roles in planning an event. Plan and organise a small to medium scale, live esports event. Create branding for their team. Social media. Participate in the event and stream through a media of their choice. Evaluate the success of the event.
