"It's been a great few days into the start of my term as President of the Students Union! I would like to express my heartiest congratulations to:
Chris, who was elected as HE Officer
Amenha, who is our new Mature + Part Time Students Officer
Sharon, who is the Officer for disabled students
Zack, who is the Officer representing our Black students
Leo, LGBTQ+ Officer for this year
Eliza, who will serve as Womens’ Officer in the SU
Abigail, our newly elected Marketing Officer"
"It's great to have such a diverse group of very intelligent young people to work with this year. You should all be very proud of yourselves, I’m looking forward to seeing the amazing work you all do.
Thank You to all that voted in this year's SU elections. It’s really important that as many students as possible engage with the Union, especially in our elections, so we can ensure that the decisions we make, and the work we do is truly representative of our peers.
I have great plans for the academic year ahead. My main priority will be ensuring that all students' voices are heard in college. I want to speak to as many students as possible. To know the issues and challenges you face, so I can take them to the powers that be and ensure that they are dealt with. My office door is always open for students who need support of any kind."
