Events coming up at College's Employer Skills Academies
Chamber Academy Lecture Theatre, City Campus
Would you like to learn how to think more creatively? Are you interested in learning strategies to help you become more innovative? Do you like the idea of learning how you can positively stand out from the crowd to employers? If the answer is yes to any of the above, this session is for you!
Ben will be delving into the meaning of both Creativity and Innovation, how these integral skills are used in the world of work and why they're so important for your future. Enterprise Holding are a global company which recruit for a wide range of roles within their company. From entry level positions in contact centres, to mechanical engineering apprenticeships and graduate schemes within the country. Therefore, Ben will be sharing some key, golden nuggets of advice for aspiring students on how you can use creativity to positively stand out from the crow through job application processes.
This interactive session is certainly not one to be missed!
Get Ahead Employability Skills Programme
Don't forget that the Get Ahead employability skills programme is in all Level 2 and Level 3 Work-Related Activity classrooms for you to complete as soon as you can!
The Get Ahead programme is a fantastic addition to your CV and will help you stand out from the crowd whether you're looking for jobs, apprenticeships or volunteer work.
Safeguarding Awareness Week at College
The Sheffield College are proud to host Safeguarding Awareness Week on the 16th - 20th May.
We have a range of stalls across the different campuses for you to engage with! We have agencies such as Kooth, Sheffield Futures, Together Women, IDAS and Roundabout coming onto campus.
