Critical Thinking

When students learn how to look at day-to-day knowledge in new ways, they become critical thinkers. They develop the ability to link what they are learned in one area across the curriculum in order to branch their learning to make it relevant to their lives, not just to a specific subject. By thinking critically, students will gain the ability to solve problems in any area of their lives. Jennie Flaa shared this article on strategies for "deep reading" while using technology that work with any subject, not just Reading/ELA.
