Reflect to Learn

To be reflective means to mentally wander through where we have been and to try to make some sense out of it. This reflection should occur as we learn, not just at the end of the project. It is good to reflect after feedback as students move through the project so a they have a chance to make sure they are heading in the right direction rather than veering off course and not fully grasping the goal of the learning. The final reflection should include students’ articulation of their own learning as well as a self-evaluation to find broader meaning of their work.
