In an effort to strengthen and to personalize the Freshman Experience, all freshmen must take and pass:

Grade 9: .5 Credit College Prep

This program offers a unique opportunity for personalization, collaboration, and reflection. Selected seniors will be assigned to sections of Freshman Seminar and will work in collaboration with the teacher implementing units of study focused on social and academic transition to high school. Senior mentors will assist with lessons on conflict resolution, speaking and listening, college and career pathways, research and critical thinking skills, problem solving strategies, time management, and integration of technology through the initiation of digital portfolios.
