How can we reason abstractly and quantitatively?
Algebra II is a preparatory course for Pre-Calculus and department electives. Topics include a review of Algebra I, introduction to matrices, extensive work in the areas of linear functions, polynomials, inequalities, rational and radical equations, exponents, simultaneous equations, conic sections, quadratic relations and complex numbers. Extensive modeling will be incorporated into the curriculum with applied reasoning and problem solving with the use of technology.
