Grades 9-12: .5 Credit

This course will provide focused reading intervention in decoding and encoding through use of a multisensory approach to systematic phonics instruction in a small group setting. Phonemic awareness and syllabication rules will enable students to internalize word structure and develop fluency as they master the coding system for reading and spelling.
