The Technology curriculum provides strong foundations in computer science and features innovative, integrative, capstone, and elective courses. All students need to learn about computer science because computers are changing the way we communicate, innovate, work, play and think.
Computing is an essential skill in the world we live.
Computing is a creative endeavor at the crossroads of engineering, science, mathematics and the arts.
Computer courses integrate problem solving, logic, troubleshooting, societal issues and creativity.
Taking several of the courses in technology will help students to develop the background for a useful and highly sought-after skill set. These courses will provide students’ opportunities to develop skills that they will use in later courses, projects, senior projects, internships, post secondary experiences and all career paths.
