What decisions must be considered when designing and creating functional artwork?

This class will focus on the creation of three dimensional art work using stoneware clay. Students will create, and be assessed on, personalized pieces that reflect their own creative vision. Multiple glazing techniques will be explored for surface treatment. Students will contribute to the welfare of others by learning to properly maintain a safe and clean studio space. A sketchbook will be required for this course.
