Guess the Hat!

Students in kindergarten have been reading the Chickadee Award nominees. Recently they enjoyed A Hat for Mrs Goldman. They loved hearing the story, and they learned lots of new words in this book. After reading, they played a fun game called Guess the Hat.

Mrs. Mills had several cutouts of hats people wear for all kinds of special events and jobs. She gave clues to students, and if they guessed the hat they got to "wear" it. We had police hats, chef hats, winter hats, crowns, and more. Students enjoyed trying to guess the different hats people wear.
