SMHS Library Makerspace built a giant tetrahedron in one day!

On March 27, the SMHS library staff and patrons worked together to turn 400 sheets of copy paper bound for recycling and a lot of tape into a giant tetrahedron. We were inspired by a project from the book Make: Paper Inventions.

The tetrahedron we built was around 7 feet tall and was completely made of rolled copy paper and tape. We pre-rolled some of the pieces but we did much of the work and all of the assembly in one day. We had a ton of fun and learned a lot making this project!
