Changes in the Libraries PK-5

The consolidation of our elementary schools led to changes everywhere, including our libraries. Starting in the spring and continuing into the fall, our library staff moved thousands of books from school to school to create two libraries that are age appropriate. This involved not only physically moving the books and re-arranging and shifting the books left, but also digitally moving the cataloging records from school to school. We are very happy with the results. Our collections are more focused and updated, and they will serve our populations much better.
