Chickadee Award voting at SMPS

Primary School students read all ten Chickadee Award nominated books in library this year and they have voted for their favorites. This program teaches literacy enrichment, the power of sharing a story as a community, and the process of voting for something important to you. The books chosen are a diverse blend of fiction and nonfiction on various topics, from serious to funny to powerful. Plus, the stories are fantastic!
