FCS Dinner and Concert Event

Freeport High School students worked with community members to plan and create a Mardi Gras dinner  for First Friday Dinner and Concert Series at Freeport Community Services.  They researched information about the origin of Mardi Gras, looked up native foods, found recipes, calculated ingredient amounts for 75 people, helped cook the meal, set up and decorate the room, serve, and clean up.  It was a very festive evening and the patrons had a wonderful time.
