We are engaged in financial thinking daily, looking at spending opportunities and thinking about the money we have or do not have to make such purchases. However, what does it mean to be financially responsible? This term, we are going to be focusing on the true cost of things, both financially and socially.
FOCUS QUESTION: What is the true cost? How can we be financially responsible?
WALT: Investigate ways to fundraise.

* Who in our family shares their money? How do they do this?

* CHARITIES: pick two charitable organisations and find out the following about them
* who founded the charity?
* what is the purpose of this organisation?
* who help to fund the work of this charitable organisation?
* Which 2 charities would you select to share your money with? (These are only a few to get you started on your search)

* What are responsible financial habits?
* What decisions could we make to save money?
WALT: Gain an understanding of Spend, Share, Save in order to help us become Financially Responsible.

*Where is a good place to store the money you are saving until your reach your goal?

Week 2: Shopping list challenge:
shopping list includes ingredients for 5 main meals;
shopping list has at least three different types of fruit;
shopping list has 4 sanitary products included;
shopping list has enough bread and milk for the week
Think about: quantity of particular items, e.g. number of bread loaves, litres of milk, grams of mincemeat, etc.
