WALT: Identify and describe the properties of 3D shapes
Instructions:
Make a copy of the properties presentation on the right.
Spend 10minutes playing the "What am I?" game with a group of 2 or 3 students.
Make your way through the slides about triangles, vocab and angles. Read the links carefully.
Post your finished angles poster on your blog with a paragraph to describe your learning.
Complete the multi-choice questions in this weeks word problems - Remember!! You need to explain how you solved each question.
Week 3:
WALT: understand improper and mixed fractions fractions
1. Maths Whizz - make sure you take charge and do at lease 20mins of Tutor time everyday.
2. Practise Activities - copy and complete in your Maths book - ready to mark.
3. Have a look at this explanation and examples of how to convert mixed numbers to improper fractions. Now practise ...see if you can complete the first two sections of these problems and then try the problem section at the bottom.
