Dear Band Students:
First, let me say that I am so proud of you. Intermediate Band you played very well and did an excellent job at sight-reading. Honestly, you really showed me what a great band you are. Thank you for putting up with me in class. I only want the best for you and you deserve it. I look forward to our Spring Concert Performance.
Advance Band, wow you really earn that superior rating. You played with expression, feeling, and with great care. I am excited about us going to the State Band Festival however, I must be honest and say that we are going for the experience and opportunity. According to a few of my fellow band director friends, the State adjudication festival is very rigorous. In spite of that, I expect us to do well. In addition, we earned the right to participate. With that said now, have to focus our attention on playing the music even better than we did at Northwestern. Deep down I believe we can do it! Advance Band, you are a great band as well as a great group of students. Last year at the Spring Concert, you started something good and I look forward to the Wise band of the future to take it to a higher level. Again, thank you for being the best band in the world. Enjoy your time off!
