Attention SEJB,
Below you will find the performance details and order for our March 17 performance:
Hello Jazz Directors,
The 25th Annual Pyramid Jazz Festival is shaping up really well. We have a great line up of middle and high schools jazz bands for this event. I still need program selections from some of you for the program. I will need title, composer and arranger for the program and a short bio. The program will start at 7:00 PM and should be over by 9:00 PM.
All bands will use the U.S. Army Blues drums, amps and sound system. I will provide a grand piano, vibraphone and conga drums. All middle schools should select one or two students from your bands to come up a blow a chorus on a f blues with the Washington - Lee HS Jazz Big Band. All high school directors should select one student to come up to solo with the U.S. Army Blues. If at all possible, try to select students who play flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar or vibes.
