STRATEGY

Our strategy to try to solve this problem is based on the following principles:

a) To distinguish in the curriculum between knowledge* (knowledge, skills, attitudes, in general resources) and competence. 

b) To maintain a subject based curriculum for knowledge* and introduce a project based curriculum for competences.

 c) In this way our curriculum will be a mixed or integrated curriculum of academic subjects and competences. But with a narrow and well established relation between them.

 d) We must begin to design and implement projects, because the other part of curriculum (subject based curriculum) is this that we have. 

 e) Finally, our curriculum will be a combination of lessons ( knowledge building) and projects (develop competences). 

 And we began working in 2008.
