1) Portable medicine cooler

• This idea came from witnessing my brother frequently need to ask for mini-fridges at every hotel. This cooler would be self contained, able to keep medicine cool and insulated for several days on end. In addition, the cooler would be lightweight, with specific sections that could be kept at varying temperatures for individuals with many different and varied medications.

• Safety, convenience, practicality

2) flexible, foldable, adhesive light

• This would be like a flashlight but it would have multiple bending joints to allow a beam to be shone on hard to reach places. It would also have hooks and crannies so that it could be held up and attached to surfaces. The light would also have detachable smaller bulbs and would be modular in nature.

3) Multifunctional filtering thermos

• the thermos will serve to fulfill the role of multiple drink holders. In the world, there is an epidemic of single use cups. By prioritizing the use of a multi-use, easily washable cup, we can cut down on waste. This thermos would be able to be divided into sections, allowing the user to keep hot and cold liquids, strain tea leaves or fruit into water, or even filter water. This will use stainless steel and thermoformed plastic. There will be a detachable tea and coffee strainer at the bottom as well three separate compartments divided into 120 degree sections height wise.

• Existing popularity of metal bottles and "Hydro-Flasks" shows that there is interest in products similar to the thermos
• People already use thermos products to store tea and other hot fluids, which could be expounded on with your divided-sections concept
• Environmentalism is becoming increasingly important in the public eye (especially with the newer generations) so promoting the environmentally-friendly, washable nature of your device would likely increase commercial success

Renewable material shoes

It's basically a conceptual product, but just assuming the idea is a type of shoes made with "renewable and easily accessible materials" that request lower cost and have a more environmentally friendly production method.

• Low cost

To provide for the disenfranchised, the price would be relatively lower than normal shoes in the market.

• More more environmentally friendly

Environmental protection is a popular idea so if the new material can reduce environmental damage, it is probably gonna get more praise.

• Large demand

The idea is fresh to people, so the product would gather more attention and larger demand when it released.

• It is environmentally friendly and very convenient ( if it will not be gigantic). Thus, due to a huge hype around all the reusable products this one will definitely have its part of the market
• The idea of keeping both hot and cold drinks in one bottle is not new: however, there are very few actual competitors on the market which puts you into a great position
• Unfortunately, the majority of the water fountains provide the debatable quality water ( even at NBPS). Thus, your incorporated filter would definitely be incredibly useful

Choice

I am choosing the portable medicine cooler for three reasons

1. It actively solves a real world problem - there is a moral justification to design and produce this product

2. There is a large commercial market - while this may not be reflected in a survey of highschool students, there is a massive market for medical supplies. There are millions of Americans with chronic medical conditions who require refrigeration for medicine.

3. There is a gap in the market - from personal experience, there are insulated containers but no highly portable, self-refrigerating machines
