Beginning to work on project.

Part way through.

The back of the phone holder.

The holder holding my phone.

Nearly finished with the project.

The artboard.

The finished project.

Holding the finished project.

When I began this project, I failed to account for the thickness of the cardboard, and my phone did not fit in the holder. On my second attempt, the cardboard pieces were the length of the straight side of my phone, but weren't long enough to attach to one another. I Fixed this problem on my third attempt by increasing the length of all of my pieces slightly. I then realized that the sides didn't have holes where the various buttons on my phone were. I used the oval shape tool to create said holes. On my first attempt I accidentally cut the left side of the holder in half.I reduced the size of the oval on the second attempt, and the left side remained intact. I then engraved a picture mocking Donald Trump on the phone holder. I used cut out Trump hair to support the holder.

I was inspired by may hatred for Donald Trump. I am most proud of the hair, which took a great deal of work to make. I could improve the phone holder by fixing the holes for the buttons.
