300 Building design Style
I believe that the interior design of the 300 Building is combination of Retro and Urban Style.
A core part of retro design is that it is decorative and uncluttered. This matches both the retro cabinets and the fab lab cabinets.
Part of industrial designed is exposed ceilings, including exposed pipes, as shown in both images. This creates an industrial room atmosphere.
Part of retro design is using atypical shapes and old pieces to accent design. We can see this both in the intertwined Fab Lab culture and in the twisted lamp.
Because urban design originated in expensive big cities, it emphasized efficient use of space. This can be seen in both the corner Bookshelves and the Lab cabinets.
The most important part of retro design is the use of vibrant colors and mixed materials to convey life and texture. The retro living room as the sofa for color and mixed texture walls. The 300 building has bright green doorways and wooden panelling set against traditional walls.
