Evaluating the NBP Student
Evaluating the NBP Student
Strand 1
Statement of Problem
- Medium/high - identifies a problem that leads to an opportunity, however some studies failed to show a clear link to a problem to be solved, and the overall formatting was mediocre and unconvincing. However many solid studies were used and the overall evidence was there.
Strand 2
Design Brief
- Low - simple brief; the brief outlined a few factors of the design but failed to coherently or fully explain them
Strand 3
Design Spec
- Low - states the requirements, and does little else
Overall score: 3
What should the NBP student have done to achieve a higher score? Describe one improvement to each section (Statement of the Problem; Design Brief; Design Spec)?
What should the NBP student have done to achieve a higher score? Describe one improvement to each section (Statement of the Problem; Design Brief; Design Spec)?
Problem Statement - fixed the formatting, used more apt studies, showed a causal link or need for cheeper wifi conductors/amplifiers
Design brief - fully outline the factors and needs behind the design
design spec - fully explain the needs and requirements with better data backing
Which is the better Criteria A - IBO Sample or NBP student?
